Hello, I am Jessica.

Hi, how are ya?

I'm Jessica and I would love to work with you. To get past being a stranger, here's a little about me!

I have lived all over the southwest, but I was born and raised in the Midwest (Illinois and Indiana), in certain circumstances, you can hear the accent come through! I was in the Army for seven years, then went to college in Colorado and Indiana. After selling my show horse, I ran my school's IHSA team. I kind of stumbled into photography to fill the void showing left and I am so thankful!

Since I'm not a full time photographer (yet), I do have a day job, which is wrangling approximately 400 freshmen as a community director for Arizona State University. When I'm not at work or photographing, I am spending time with my son, Archer, and my two dogs, Whiskey and Yoda. I'm also a huge concert and sporting events fanatic!

I guess you could say I thrive in chaotic environments. This is why I can keep a calm presence regardless of how much your horse would rather be a 1000lb kite!

I specialize in natural light photography, capturing moments that can be cherished for years. I don't have professional photos with my childhood horses or the spicy chestnut mare who carried me to shows all over the Midwest and through a bear encounter in Colorado. I regret that every single day. It's become part of why I do this. Life is short, get the photos done.

I am also a proud ally of the Equestrians of Color Project. If you would like to learn more, please check out the website: https://equestriansofcolor.com/
